Background

The Synthesis will provide an inventory of existing programs and projects in the South Shore area; identify gaps and future opportunities; and establish a vision for a resilient landscape. The Synthesis will cover forestry, stream environment zones, storm water, recreation, transportation, wildlife, aquatic invasive species issues, and more. View more information and a map of this new initiative here.

Meeting Goals

The Conservancy invites you to participate in this meeting to help improve the quality of the Synthesis. Meeting goals include:

  1. Review a draft inventory of existing and planned efforts in the Greater Watershed, and
  2. Begin to identify potential opportunities for future synergies and coordination.

The meeting will focus on the overall suite of work in the watershed. The meeting is not a review meeting for individual projects.

The Conservancy and their consultant, Kearns & West, will also host a meeting to seek input from the agencies that plan, implement, fund, and regulate projects and activities in the watershed.
