The Conservancy encourages qualified applicants to submit proposals to operate, manage, and maintain a non-motorized recreation concession at the Conservancy’s Patton Landing recreation site at 5166/5188 North Lake Boulevard, Carnelian Bay, California.

The current concessionaire, operating as Waterman’s Landing, rents kayaks, canoes, and stand up paddle boards and operates a café. This current lease expires in February 2020. State law requires the Conservancy to open such leases to competitive bidding.

The Conservancy plans to award the winning proposal a ten-year concession agreement, with an optional ten-year extension. Any extension is subject to approval by the Conservancy Board.
