The California Tahoe Conservancy (Conservancy) is proposing to adopt regulations related to the use of Conservancy land and facilities. The Notice of Proposed Rulemaking was published in the California Regulatory Notice Register on June 9, 2023.
June 13, 2024 Update: On May 29, 2024, the Office of Administrative Law approved the Conservancy’s regulations and filed them with the Secretary of State. The regulations will take effect on July 1, 2024.

February 6, 2024 Update: The Conservancy is proposing modifications to the text of the regulations. The modifications are being made available for public review and comment through February 21, 2024. You can submit written comments relevant to the proposed modifications through February 21, 2024. Please send your comment to the Conservancy by email, mail, or hand delivery, and reference the proposed regulations in the subject line (“Comment Letter – Proposed Regulations on the Use of Conservancy Land”).
