California Tahoe Conservancy Lake Tahoe Science and Lake Improvement Account Call for Projects Announcement

The California Tahoe Conservancy annually receives funding from the Lake Tahoe Science and Lake Improvement Account. These funds can be used for near-shore environmental improvement program activities and projects in California that include, but are not limited to, aquatic invasive species projects and projects to improve public access to sovereign land in Lake Tahoe.

The Conservancy is looking to establish a priority list of projects and activities to use for funding decisions with a Stakeholder Group. Projects should be consistent with the program level priorities established as part of the 2008-2018 EIP Update. All projects must have an EIP number from the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency. Funding for operations and maintenance is not eligible.

To submit a project, please submit a letter of interest. The letter should contain the information defined in the Project Letter of Interest page.

WHO CAN SUBMIT:
Public agencies, Federally-recognized Indian tribes, and nonprofit organizations.
