Call for Projects – Lake Tahoe Science and Lake Improvement Account

South Lake Tahoe, Calif.—July 7, 2017—The California Tahoe Conservancy annually receives funding from the Lake Tahoe Science and Lake Improvement Account for near-shore environmental improvement program activities and projects in California that include, but are not limited to, aquatic invasive species projects and projects to improve public access in Lake Tahoe.

The Conservancy is looking to establish a priority list of projects and activities to use for funding decisions with a stakeholder group. Projects should be consistent with the program level priorities established as part of the 2008-2018 EIP Update and must have an EIP number from the Tahoe Regional Planning Agency. Funding for operations and maintenance is not eligible.

To submit a project, please submit a letter of interest. The letter should contain the information defined in the attached Project Letter of Interest page.

WHO CAN SUBMIT:
Public agencies, Federally-recognized Indian tribes, and nonprofit organizations.
