I see flagging and painted trees on Conservancy land. What does that mean?

Such markers denote various Conservancy management activities such as fuel reduction and erosion control. Please contact the Conservancy office if you have further questions.

I heard the Conservancy has a community firewood program. How does it work?

Beginning May 1st and ending in October the Conservancy issues firewood permits for two cords of wood for personal use free of charge. For more information stop by our office or call the firewood information line, updated weekly, at (530) 543-6061.
